Useful for heavy art

We're converting all the photographs and art in our house from picture wire to a museum art hanging system (cables suspended from above), and the traditional picture wire across-the-back has to be replaced with hangers that bear weight from above. These D ring hangers are perfect. Two screws distribute the weight in the frame, and the D (rather than O) ring focuses the position of the hanging hook. Good find.

Great price, clasic hangers

These are identical to the ones you can get in the hardware store 2-to-a-blister pack, which cost far more than these. Fairly strong (I would trust them to 50 lbs).
